These terms govern your use of GresTrace (grestrace.com), a tool for visualizing PostgreSQL EXPLAIN execution plans, operated by [your legal business name] of [registered business address], United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By using GresTrace or purchasing GresTrace Pro, you agree to these terms.
GresTrace's visualizer is free to use. GresTrace Pro is a one-time paid unlock (price shown at checkout) that reveals suggested SQL fixes for specific problem patterns our diagnostic rules detect in a pasted execution plan.
One purchase unlocks Pro for you, indefinitely, on any device. It is not a subscription and does not renew or recur.
Diagnostic output and suggested SQL (free or paid) are informational only. They are generated by fixed, rule-based checks against the plan you paste; they are not a review of your schema, workload, or server configuration, and they are not professional database advice.
Always review a suggested change and test it against a non-production copy of your database before running it against production. Creating an index, changing a query, or adjusting a server setting can have consequences we have no visibility into, including degraded write performance, increased disk usage, or table bloat. You are responsible for any SQL or configuration change you choose to run.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, output from GresTrace or GresTrace Pro.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
GresTrace Pro is digital content delivered immediately on payment. Under the UK/EU Consumer Contracts Regulations, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase, but that right ends as soon as you've given express consent to instant delivery and acknowledged that you lose the cancellation right by doing so, which you do at checkout. Your unlock is for your own use. Please don't share your unlock code publicly or resell access to it.
We aim to keep GresTrace available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features of the free tier at any time. We won't remove your Pro unlock once purchased.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
